6 pm: dinner & awards program
The buffet features: carved slow roasted prime rib of beef with au jus and creamy horseradish, furikake salmon with teriyaki sauce and wasabi aioli, hoisin glazed roast chicken, garlic shrimp, clams and mussels sautéed with garlic tomato white wine broth. Also served are Ceasar salad, penne pasta salad, sautéed seasonal vegetables, steamed rice, dinner rolls, dessert, and iced tea, hot tea, and coffee.
Proceeds
Funds raised support Zonta Club of Hilo Foundation scholarships given to women pursuing higher education in nursing, women’s studies, communication, business, and STEM, plus Pay-it-Forward micro-grants to local women-owned businesses.
