The 16 Days of Activism take place from November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to December 10, Human Rights Day. Area 1 Meeting
Bringing together the Area 1 club leadership and members to collaborate, socialize and reaffirm our mission to build a better world for women and girls. This year's theme centers around the 85th anniversary of birth of Amelia Earhart. In 1928, Earhart became the first female passenger to cross the Atlantic by airplane. Held annually, the Amelia Earhart Girls in Engineering Day supports girls grades 4-8 to continue STEM curriculum throughout middle school and high school, then pursue college degrees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
